Chimney Services

We are pleased to offer a broad range of chimney services for homeowners.

Cleaning. We provide cleaning services for all types of chimneys, fireplaces, wood stoves, pellet stoves, and gas fireplaces. As a certified chimney sweep through the Chimney Safety Institute of America(CSIA) we have the training necessary to provide professional cleaning services. We work to the standards set forth by the CSIA as well as the National Chimney Sweep Guild. We guarantee that your home is as clean when we finish as we when started. We use HEPA filtered vacuums, drop cloths from the point of entry to the hearth, and cover all your furniture in the room with drop cloths. We will ask you to move any fragile objects around the hearth that could be damaged. We are confident you will be pleased with the level of professionalism displayed by all employees and our willingness to answer any and all questions you may have about the cleaning process and about chimneys and fireplaces.
Inspections. Are you buying or selling a home? The cost of having to repair a chimney or fireplace because damage was not discovered during the home inspection process can be very high. To protect yourself as a home buyer or seller we offer a range of inspection services to meet your needs.
Consultations. Considering home renovations involving an existing fireplace or wood stove? We can provide our expertise to make the changing from one type of fireplace or wood stove to another smooth and efficient. Perhaps the fireplace is not performing as intended, it smokes back into the house, will not hold draft, or any of a broad ranges of problems. We will meet with you to discuss these problems, find the root causes and provide cost effective solutions.
Chimney Caps/Covers. There are three reasons that a chimney should be covered.
- Animals. Birds, bats, squirrels and other animals can and do find their way into the chimney and from there into your home.
- Embers. It can be possible for hot embers to exit the chimney and land on your roof, a neighbor's roof or on a tree or lawn where they can ignite and cause significant damage.
- Water Intrusion. Water can damage the interior of masonry chimneys and cause all kinds of deterioration. This deterioration can eventually lead to chimney failure requiring extensive repairs. Water can also cause rusting of metal chimneys and eventually eat through the metal causing it to fail.
- Chimney caps are an inexpensive way to protect chimneys. We offer a broad range of sizes and styles including custom applications.

Air Duct Cleaning Services

We are pleased to offer our clients the opportunity to improve the air quality inside their homes by cleaning the air duct system. It is estimated today that the air quality inside our homes is 2 to 5 times more polluted than the air outside. With that in mind we are here to help change that.

Duct Cleaning. We offer a number of methods to effectively remove dust/debris and anything that may have settled into your duct system over the years.
Duct Sanitizing. This requires the use of an EPA approved chemical combination that destroys any bacteria, spores or other organisms that are not removed during the cleaning process. There is also an agent that binds any remaining dust particles to the duct. This process has a useful life of 6 months. This can and should be done between system cleanings.
Duct Inspection & Repair. During the cleaning process, we will advise you of any damage we notice and recommend the appropriate repairs. Minor repairs can be performed at the time of the cleaning. Any major repairs or replacement of duct lines will be discussed with you and a bid provided for those services.
